The Trek – Gillan

The Trek Sleeps 8 in 4 Bedrooms.

The Trek was totally rebuilt in 2025.
No price increase for 2026, book now and no deposit required until this November.

Location.
This very nice self catering holiday cottage is situated in an enviable position just above Gillan Creek, The Trek is a detached property in a lovely private location with a pretty terraced garden and spectacular views across Gillan Creek and Falmouth Bay. It is approached down a private lane and Gillan beach is just below the property. The area is perfect for walking, sailing, water skiing and fishing and boats can be hired from St Anthony, which is just across the creek.

Accommodation.

Ground Floor:
The large living room has comfortable furniture with a 65 inch television, log burner and glass door to the decked balcony. The dining area has dining table and chairs and large opening glass doors onto the decking. There are amazing views over Gillan creek and Falmouth bay.
The kitchen area is fully fitted with a large fridge, wine cooler, cooker, hob and dishwasher.
The utility area has a freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and microwave, and a ground floor WC with hand basin.

Bedroom 4 is on the ground floor with super king bed, a 43 inch television and views over Gillan Creek.

First Floor.

Bedroom 1 has a super king bed and a 43 inch television, a Juliet balcony and an en suite shower room. There is an outstanding view over Gillan creek and Falmouth bay.
Bedroom 2 has two three foot single beds.
Bedroom 3 has two three foot single beds.

There is a family bathroom off the landing with hand basin, WC, heated towel rail and bath with power shower over.

Heating.
The entire house has under floor heating with controls in every room.

Outside.
The Trek has a pretty terraced garden and a large decked area with garden furniture and a charcoal  BBQ plus amazing views over Gilan creek and Falmouth bay.

Electricity, oil central heating, bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in the price. Guests should bring their own beach towels and linen for the cot.
Logs are not supplied for the log burner.

The Trek has  free Highspeed Broadband and multiple USB points.
Parking for 3 cars next to the property.

A travel cot is available on request, cot linen is not supplied.
There is a child stair gate provided.
There is no high chair provided in The Trek.

No pets.
No smoking or Vaping.

Changeover day: Saturday.

Hi Phil,

The Trek has very recently been completely renovated and enlarged (we were the first guests for this season 2025). It is stunning. A lot of time and care has been put into the property on the design and functionality of the house. We were 7 and the property provided ample space for us. The kitchen and utility are really well equipped. The decor, the use of colours and soft furnishings provide the modern look and the feel off a home where you feel completely relaxed. There was plenty of hot water, the under floor heating was an added bonus. The views are out of this world. You never tire of them. We both grew up in the area and so it was lovely to bring our friends to a part of the world that we know so well. Highly recommend the walk between Gillan and Manaccan. The New Inn at Manaccan is under new ownership; the welcome and food are great. Would we return – yes. Lindford Cottages were easy to communicate with/quick to respond to questions. So nice to deal with a person when making the reservation. Thank you Phil.
