The Dell – Gillan

The Dell Sleeps 4 in 2 Bedrooms plus 2 in Summer House.

The Dell, a very nice self catering holiday cottage is a detached property standing in a private lane, in a lovely private location with a pretty garden and views across Gillan Creek and Falmouth Bay. Flushing beach is just down the lane and Gillan beach just along the coastal path.

Accommodation.
Kitchen/dining/living area. Main bedroom with King size bed, Second bedroom with two 3ft beds, Bathroom with bath, shower over the bath, hand basin & WC. Summerhouse with two 3ft single beds (July & August bookings only)  Ground floor wet room (accessed from the garden) with large walk-in shower, hand basin and WC.

Location.
The Dell is situated close to the South West coastal path, just a few minutes walk from Flushing Cove in one of the most beautiful unspoilt areas of the southern Cornish coast. It is approached down a private lane and has spectacular views of Gillan Creek and Falmouth Bay. The area is perfect for walking, sailing, water skiing and fishing and boats can be hired from St Anthony, which is just across the creek.

There are steps up from the garden to the sun deck, where a door leads into the open plan sitting/dining room with flat screen TV & Free View, Blu-ray DVD player, Bose Wave music system with sound link and coal effect electric fire. Lots of books to read, DVD’s to watch, games to play, to make your stay as relaxing as possible.

There is a modern, well equipped kitchen area with built-in cooker and hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave oven and coffee maker. Bedroom 1 has a 5′ King size bed and Bedroom 2 has two 3′ beds. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC. In the ground floor area, which is accessed from the garden, there is a fully tiled wet room with large walk-in shower, hand basin and WC. Door through to utility area with an automatic washing machine, tumble dryer, and small 2nd fridge.

Additional accommodation.
There is a wooden summerhouse in the garden which, during the months of July and August, can be used as an extra bedroom and has two full size 3′ single beds, please state on the booking form if you need the summer house beds.

Outside.
The Dell has a pretty garden and an attractive sun deck with patio table, chairs, sun bed and a BBQ. It has its own parking area.
Electricity, night storage heating, bed linen and tea towels are included in the price.

As from January 2023 towels for personal use will be supplied, but not beach towels.

The Dell has free high speed fibre Broadband.
A cot is available on request, cot linen is not supplied, guests should bring their own linen for the cot.
Parking for 3 cars.
No pets.
No smoking or Vaping.
Changeover day: Saturday
