A very well equipped detached property in one of the best locations in Cornwall, highly recommended
ACCOMMODATION : Ground floor: Hallway
with open tread staircase to upper floor. Large L Shaped Sitting Room,
Kitchen/dining room, Study, Utility room with Shower cubicle with power
shower, separate W.C. & hand basin, Bedroom with 2 single beds. First
Floor: Landing, Bedroom with two 3ft beds & hand basin, Bathroom with
electric shower over the bath, hand basin and W.C. Single Bedroom with
one 3ft bed. Another Single Bedroom with one 3ft bed. Double bedroom with
6ft bed and en suite bathroom with bath & shower over plus shower
cubicle with electric shower, hand basin and W.C.
Heron Crest is a large detached house situated in a magnificent position overlooking Gillan Creek and Falmouth Bay. The ground floor sitting room and kitchen and the upstairs bedrooms all have stunning sea views. The property is very private and is situated at the end of a farm lane. There is a gate at the bottom of the garden which takes you onto the South West coastal path and Gillan Cove is a few minutes walk away. The area is ideal for boating, watersports and walking and boats can be launched or hired at nearby St Anthony, where moorings and boat trailer storage can be arranged.
The accommodation is arranged as follows:- Hallway with open tread staircase to upper floor. Large L shaped sitting room with log burner, open fire, TV with Free View, DVD player and patio doors onto a paved terrace. The kitchen/dining room has modern amenities including a cooker, gas hob, dishwasher, combination microwave, CD player & radio, dining table and chairs and patio doors to the garden. There is a small study. The utility room has a fridge-freezer, automatic washing machine, hanging drying rack, shower cubicle with power shower, separate W.C. and hand basin, door to garden. There is a ground floor twin bedded room with two 3ft single beds. An open tread staircase leads to:- First Floor with landing, Bedroom with two 3ft single beds, hand basin and amazing views, Family bathroom with bath & electric shower over, hand basin and W.C. Single bedroom with one 3ft bed and amazing views, another single bedroom with one 3ft bed and lovely views and a double bedroom with 6ft bed, lovely views and an en suite bathroom with bath & shower over, shower cubicle with electric shower, hand basin and W.C.
Outside there is a paved terrace with garden furniture and a sunshade. The large sloping garden is laid to lawn with beautiful shrubs and trees and there are stunning sea views. There is a BBQ and parking for 4 cars in the driveway. Bed linen, electricity and tea towels are included in the cost, but guests should bring towels for personal and beach use. Logs are not supplied for the log burner and the open fire.
As the property has an open tread staircase, sloping gardens and a pond, it is not suitable for very young children.There is no cot or highchair. Pets and Smoking are not allowed. Please note, the owners have a cat and occasional dogs do visit the property, therefore, it is unsuitable for people with allergies to animals.
