A very comfortable
and well equipped self contained property in 2 acres of grounds in a beautiful
quiet location, just 1 mile from Coverack Harbour and the South West Coastal
Path. The Old Forge has the benefit of its own kitchen plus sitting/breakfast
room, bedroom with double bed, shower room with large shower cubicle,
private garden and parking in the grounds.
ACCOMMODATION:
Kitchen, Hallway, Sitting/Breakfast room. Bedroom with 4'6"
double bed. Shower room with large shower cubicle, hand basin and
toilet.
The Old Forge is the ground floor, self contained wing of Lindford House, an early 19th Century former Blacksmith’s cottage. Once a working forge and retaining one of the original granite and cob walls and beamed ceilings, the property has been tastefully converted into comfortable, centrally heated and double glazed self contained bed and breakfast or self catering accommodation with high quality fixtures and fittings.
There is a fully fitted oak kitchen with electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave oven and automatic washer/dryer. Hallway. Shower room with extra large shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet. Sitting room with comfortable furniture, breakfast table & chairs, remote control flat screen digital television with DVD player and Free View. Double bedroom with 4'6" bed and pine bedroom furniture.
A French door leads from the bedroom onto the patio area and garden, which is laid to lawn with patio furniture and is for the exclusive use of guests staying in The Old Forge.
The cottage is situated in quiet countryside and is surrounded by moorland and fields. It stands in a further two acres of mature, private grounds in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one mile from Coverack, a tiny picturesque fishing village. There is ample parking in the grounds.
Central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels (but not beach towels) and tea towels are included in the cost. There is a hair dryer in the bedroom.
For Bed & Breakfast guests a Continental style breakfast of cereals, milk, fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, tea and coffee, fresh bread, butter and preserves etc will be left in the property so that guests can have breakfast at their convenience.
Sorry no pets & no smoking.
We do not take children under 15 years of age.
