Coverack, once a notorious smugglers haunt, is one of the most beautiful of Cornwall’s fishing villages with its small harbour nestling in the south side of the bay. It has a sand and pebble beach and a windsurfing school, where tuition is available. The Paris pub was named after the Paris liner which sank off the Manacle rocks and offers good food and beautiful sea views. You can eat at the Old Lifeboat House restaurant plus two other cafes on the harbourside and there is a small general store which incorporates a post office, two gift shops, an art gallery, and an ice cream parlour.

The busy village of Mullion boasts a golf course, pubs, shops, restaurants and a quaint harbour, and the sandy coves of Poldhu, Church Cove and Gunwalloe are nearby. The coastal walks from Mullion are stunning.
